Biography

Isabella was born about 1810. She was the daughter of David Ironside, a crofter, and Isabella Hunter^[1]

In the 1841 census Isabella (age 30) was in Middlemuir, Methlick, Aberdeenshire.^[2]

In the 1851 census Isabella (age 36), Farm, was the wife of James Coutts in Middlemuir, Methlick, Aberdeenshire.^[3]

She passed away on 13 May 1859 at Middlemuir, Methlick, possibly aged 58. The informant on her death certificate was her husband James Coutts. She was buried in the churchyard at New Deer. ^[1]
