MEMORIAL PHOTOS 1 FLOWERS 0 Bessie A. Mitton 1909-2002 The death of Bessie A. Mitton 93, wife of the late George T. Mitton QC occurred at Royal Court, Riverview on Thursday October 17th, 2002. Born in Rexton on April 8th, 1909 she was the daughter of the late Capt. George Irving and Augusta Atkinson. Bessie was a member of St. John's United Church, the Bonar Law Chapter of the IODE and the Daughters of the Nile. She is survived by sons, G.Irving Mitton (JoAnn) of Upper Dorchester, H. Myron Mitton (Gayle) of Ottawa; daughters, Marilyn Patten of Trois Ruisseaux, Elizabeth Taylor (George) of Colpitts Settlement, Ellen Clare (Richard) of Caledon East Ont., as well as 16 grandchildren and 12 great grand children. She was predeceased by a grandson and was the last surviving member of her immediate family. At Bessie's request there will be no visitation or funeral. A private committal service will be held.
