"George Barnett, of Cores End, was summoned at the instance of the Wycombe Rural District Council for allowing premises occupied by Daniel Irving to be in a state that was considered dangerous and injurious to health.-Mr. L. R. Nash appeared for defendant, who was unable to attend, and asked for reasonable time to get Irving out of the house and put it in a proper state of repair.-Mr. R. Herring offered no objection to this course and the magistrates adjourned the case for a month.- Messrs. W. Eccles and T. G. Lunnon (members of the District Council) did not adjudicate on the case."
