Biography
Abraham was born in Bred parish 21 March 1808 to farmer Isaac Olofsson in Hamby and his wife Anna Råberg[1] His mother was entered in the birth book as Maria, but his has been corrected in the household record.[2]
He came with his parents to Sevalla in 1812.[3] Abraham went back to Bred in 1823.[4]
Abraham Isacsson adopted the surname Björklund (same as his brother Anders Gustav).[5] He is in all household records as Abraham, born in Bred in 1808, but the birth date varies, mostly between different dates in January. This level of inconsistency is very common for people around this time, who moved a lot, probably due to bad handwriting in the issued credentials.
Abraham Björklund came to Västerås from Skultuna in 1834 with his wife, Fredrica Albertina Aspling.[6]
Abraham Björklund died in Västerås Skerike 28 January 1839.[7]
