Biography

Hannah was born in 1753. She was the daughter of Timothy Jackman (1729-1795) and Mary Thurston (1731-1767).

She married Eliphaz Chapman (1747-1814) in 1772.^[1][2] They had the following children:

1. Hannah Chapman 1773-1774
2. Eliphaz Chapman Jr. 1775-1844
3. Elizabeth Chapman 1777-1827
4. Abigail Chapman 1778-1807 (m Walker)
5. George Whitfield Chapman 1780-1875
6. Timothy Chapman 1783-1871
7. Samuel Chapman 1785-1827
8. Edmund Chapman 1787-1868

She passed away in 1838. She is buried in Riverside Cemetery, Oxford, Maine.
