Percy Charles Jackson was born 13th December 1878, his birth being registered the following year in Sandhurst, Victoria, the son of William Jabus Jackson and Hannah Roberts. Sandhurst is now known as Bendigo.[1]
In 1901, in Victoria, he married Helena Amelia Walter. [2]

JACKSON—WALTER.—On the 28th October, at "Osborne," Edward-street, Bendigo, by the Rev. T. J. P. Payne, Percy Charles, third son of Mr. W. J. Jackson, tailor, of Hargreaves-street W., Bendigo, to Helena Amelia (Lena), youngest daughter of the late Mr. C. N. Walter, of Bridge-street, Bendigo. [3]
They had children in Victoria and Queensland.

MOTHER SUES SON
LOAN RETURN ORDERED
At the Brunswick Court to-day Percy Charles Jackson, printer, shareholder in the firm of Blakely and Jackson Proprietary Company, Sydney road, Brunswick, was sued by his mother, Mrs Hannah Jackson, a widow, for the sum of £40, money lent, and a verdict was given for the amount, with £2/2/ costs. A stay of one month was allowed. |
Mrs. Jackson said that in October, 1911, she lent her son £40 as deposit to purchase a house valued at £410. The place was purchased by her son in his wife's name. Witness had frequently applied for some of the money, but her son had always put her off.
Percy Charles Jackson, printer, and [sic] that he had no desire to give evidence against his mother. The money was given him by his mother to provide a home for her and his sister. The house was bought in his wife's name.
Mr Fleming, J.P.: You made a home for your wife and self with the mother's money.
Jackson: There is always a home for her there. He was prepared to refund the money, but was debarred from working with other printers through holding the shares in the firm.
Percy Charles Jackson passed away in 1953, his recorded as 74 years. His death was registered in Healesville, Victoria, Australia, giving Bendigo as his birthplace and his parents indexed as William James Jackson and Hannah Roberts.[6]

DEATHS
JACKSON.-On September 16, at Healesville, Percy Charles, loving brother of Pem (Mrs. Powell). Aged 74 years. So mote it be. [7]
On 21st September 1953, his remains were cremated at the Springvale Botanical Cemetery, where his ashes were later scattered. [8]
Naturalization records for California, USA, show Helena petitioning in 1959. Helena stated she was 79 years old, born Bendigo, Australia, on 28th October 1880. Her spouse was named as Percy Charles Jackson, born 13th December 1878. [9]
It was another 25 years, in 1978, before Helena passed away, still in California.
