Biography
James was born in 1829.
James served in the 5th Regiment, South Carolina Cavalry (Ferguson's) during the Civil War.[1]
He was the husband of Rebecca DuBose Jackson and father of James Warren Jackson, Jr.
He passed away in 1898 and is buried at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, Sumter, South Carolina.
