Biography

Lilly was born on the 14th November 1906 in Hartlepool, Co. Durham, England. ^[1]. She was the daughter of William Henry Jacques and Clara Annie Shepherd. Lilly grew up with her parents and siblings in Hartlepool ^[2]. After the death of her father she continued to live with her mother ^[3].

Lilly married Ernest W Henry in about November 1931 in Hartlepool, Co. Durham. ^[4]. They continued to live in Hartlepool and just one child, a daughter, Patricia Henry (b Nov 1932). In 1939 Lilly was living with her father-in-law and mother-in-law ^[5].

Lilly died in about May 2000 in Hartlepool. She was aged 93 years 7 months. ^[6]
