Lorna Jager-Heilbronner-Scott 1929 – 2014

Lorna Marie Scott, of Santa Rosa, CA, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2014. Lorna, born August 16, 1929 to Jacob C. and Lorena M. Jager in Junction City. She grew up on the family farm on River Road. She taught elementary children for 40 years, retiring in 1992. Lorna married Larry Scott in 1999, and has lived in Santa Rosa, for the past 15 years. Besides being survived by Larry, she also has a sister, Eleanor Smartt, (husband Tom) of Elkton; a sister-in-law, Betty Else of Eugene; four children from a previous marriage; Katherine Wilson Krysl, (husband Phillip;) of Walterville, Fred Heilbronner, (Wife Celia) of Eugene, Cindy Erickson, (husband Lee) of Springfield and John Heilbronner of Coburg. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Memorial Service to be held Saturday, March 15, 2014 at the United Methodist Church, Junction City at 2:00 p.m.
