Benoit Jared is a descendant of an Acadian
Benoit, son of Louis Jared and Catherine Giasson, was born the morning of 10 Jan 1814 and baptized the same day in the parish of Saint-Denis, Bas-Canada. His godparents were Jean Baptiste Lefébvre and Charlotte dite Fontaine. [1]
Benoit Jaret, adult son of the late Louis Jaret and the late Catherine Giasson, and Marguerite Terrien, widow of the late Bernard Gay (daughter of Joachim Therrien and Genevieve Charbonneau), were married 6 Oct 1835 in the parish of Saint-Denis, Bas-Canada. [2]
