Samuel was the second husband of Catherine Durham; Catherine was Samuel's second wife. His first wife was Sally Cox, who died about 1845. Samuel is buried in the Bethesda Cemetery in Ouachita County Arkansas.
Samuel was born 9 March 1800. He passed away in 1879.
