Mary was born in 1839. She was the daughter of John Jeffers and Catherine Zahler. She passed away in 1884.

She married William W. Simpson in 1859^[1]. He was born on 2 Jun 1826 in Ross County, Ohio and died while serving in the Union Army on 15 Mar 1862 in Martinsburg, Berkeley County, West Virginia. They had 2 sons, James Leighton Simpson (1860–1922) and George Wilson Simpson (1862–1904).

She married Alexander Thompson around 1869. They had 1 son and 4 daughters. She lived in Richland Township, Logan, Ohio, United States in 1880. She died on 17 December 1884, in Belle Center, Logan, Ohio, United States, at the age of 45, and was buried in Huntsville, Logan, Ohio, United States.
