Mary Ann, the daughter of Richard (a farmer) and Alice Jilbert of Crankan was baptised at Gulval on 15 Sep 1833.[1]

Mary Ann Jelbert, aged 21 and the daughter of Richard Jelbert, married James Olds, a miner aged 21 son of James Olds, at Gulval by Banns on 13 Nov 1853.[3]

She emgrated with her family on the Northern Monarch in 1879.[4]

She passed away in 30 Sep 1912 and was buried on 3 Oct at Oamaru Old Cemetery, Anglican section.[5]
