Biography
Robert was born in 1799 in Doncaster, Yorkshire, England to parents Robert Jenkinson (1764-1803) and Mary Ducher (1768-1840) [1].
On the 1st of May 1827, Robert married Mary Shillito in Normanton, All Saints, Yorkshire, England [2], and together they had seven children: Robert Ebenezer Jenkinson, born 1828; Mary Jane Jenkinson, born 1830 [3]; Benjamin Shillito Jenkinson, born in 1832 [4]; Elizabeth Jenkinson, born in 1834 [5]; James Jackson Jenkinson, born in 1836; Henry Irwin Jenkinson, born in 1836; and Frederick Herbert Jenkinson, born in 1841.
Robert passed away on the 1st of April in 1848 in Brotherton, Yorkshire, England.
