Biography

John Jennings was born on July 31, 1706 in Tiverton, Newport, Rhode Island. His parents were Isaac Jennings and Rose Goodspeed.

He married Anne Holway on October 03, 1727. Together they had the following children:

  1. Anne Jennings
  2. Rose Jennings
  3. Ruhama Jennings b: 6 May 1736 in Tiverton, Newport, Rhode Island, United States
  4. John Jennings b: 8 Mar 1738 in Tiverton, Newport, Rhode Island, United States
  5. Susannah Jennings b: 21 Apr 1747 in Tiverton, Newport, Rhode Island, United States

He died before the 6th of January 1778 when his inventory was taken, in Tiverton, Newport, Rhode Island.

His will is dated 26 May 1774 and proved on 20 March 1778 in Tiverton.[1] His inventory was taken on 6 January 1778.[1]

John and Anne might have been first cousins. It appears that they share the same grandparents: John Jennings (Jennings-598) and Ruhama Turner (turner-2260).

Jennings-3717 and Jennings-6668 appear to represent the same person because: The Jennings family has been chronicled by different people making more than one profile on the same subjects. This is the second I've found today. Please merge the two profiles, they are of the same person. Robert Green
