- 1837: Ann Jewsbury of Snarestone, aged 24, daughter of blacksmith John Jewsbury, & labourer Joseph Purser of Snarestone, aged 25, son of labourer John Purser, were married 17 Oct 1837 in the Parish chapel of Snarestone, Leicestershire, England with witnesses Joseph Tetley & Sarah Farmer[2].
