Elsebe Kanutte Duve (or Johannesdatter) was baptized on 26 Apr 1750 in Hjørundfjord.^[1][2]

In the 1762 extra tax list, Elsebe Canute was listed as a child over the age of 12 at Sæbøe in Hjørundfjord.^[3]

Elesebe Canute was confirmed on 25 Oct 1767 in Hjørundfjord.^[4]

Elsebe Canuta married Johannes Hansen Myklebust on 28 Jan 1782.^[5][6]

Else married Axel Amundsen Hareid on 29 Jun 1794 in Ørsta.^[7]

In the 1801 census Elsebe Chanutta, age 50, bonde og gaardbruger, was at Hammer, Volda, Møre og Romsdal with her son Hans Johannesen.^[8]

Else died on 22 Nov 1837 in Ørsta.^[9] Her age noted in the church book was 87 years. She was a widow residing at Hammeren.

The probate for Else Johannesd Hammeren was registered on 8 Jun 1837 (Mo in Ørsta).^[10]
