Biography
Ture was the third child of Johan August Karlsson, who was 36, and Matilda Sofia Jonsdotter, who was 30. Ture's mother passed away four years later. Ture left home in 1903. In March 1915, Ture married Helga, who was a foster daughter in a neighboring family to where Ture worked as a farm hand. The newlyweds moved to Högsby, the parish where they were married. Their oldest son was born in August the same year, but died in December. Their younger children took the patronymic Turesson.
