Catherine was born in 1765. She passed away in 1830.
Daughter of Peter John, a Loyalist from Ulster County, New York who arrived in Annapolis, N.S. in 1783 with his wife and four children. She moved with her parents to Sissiboo (now Weymouth), N.S. in March 1784 and married Loyalist James Cosman in Sissiboo circa 1785. They had eight children and large numbers of grandchildren. Exact place of burial unknown but presumed to be Saint Peter's Anglican Cemetery in North Weymouth, N.S. (see Find a Grave in sources)
