Grace John (spinster) and Richard John (widower) married on 29 October 1827 at Wenvoe, Glamorganshire. Witnesses were John John and Joan John. [2]

In the 1841 Census, Grace and Richard are listed living at Court Y Veil, Penarth, Cardiff, Glamorganshire, Wales. Richard is listed as a farmer. They had two sons in their home, and three servants/farm workers. [3]

At the time of the 1861 Census, Grace and Richard are listed as living next door to Weston Farm, where her sister Elizabeth's family lived, in Cadoxton Juxta Barry, Glamorganshire. Richard is listed as a retired farmer, born ~1783 in Penarth, Glamorganshire. [4]

Seventy eight year old Grace was listed as a widow in the 1871 Census. She was living at Iron House, Cadoxton, Cardiff, Glamorganshire, Wales. Her occupation was corrected from Pauper to former farmer's wife. [5]
