Biography

He took part in the battle of Sark on 23 October 1448 and he was afterwards one of the conservators of peace on the Borders. He died before May 1455. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Sark

Children: with Janet Dunbar, Patrick, Archibald, William, born before 1455. Helped suppress the Rebellion of the Douglas versus the King, he was given lands of Pettinain, Westraw Lanarkshire.
