Robert E. Johnstonbaugh, known as 'J'Baugh', 74, passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2007 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born June 22, 1933 in Fargo, North Dakota to Edwin and Catherine (Donahue) Johnstonbaugh. Bob served his country proudly in the United States Air Force and retired after 28 years of service as a Chief Master Sgt. After retirement, he continued his career as an Air Traffic Control Instructor for the FAA Academy. He was a longtime member of the VFW. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who always provided for his family and loved spending time with them. Bob loved sports, swimming, and family trips. He is survived by his wife, Fran of the home; three sons, Bobby and wife Linda of Burkburnett, TX, Pat and wife Wendy of Peoria, AZ and Denis and wife Katie of OKC; two daughters, Cheryl Jones and husband Vernon of OKC and Jeanette Willett and husband Barry of Wichita Falls, TX; two brothers, Richard and wife Sally of Seattle, WA and James of Seattle, WA; nineteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents. Mass services will be held 2:00 P.M., Friday, October 5, 2007, at St. James Catholic Church with interment following in Resthaven Gardens under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home. ^[1]
