Biography

Walter was born on 26 October 1913 in Bedwellty, Monmouthshire, Wales. He was the son of John Morgan Jones and Elizabeth (Cole) Jones.[1]

In 1916 Walter (age about 2) was living. Other Records: Child.[2]

Walter leased the Devonshire Hotel in Newtonards just after World War II. He lived there with his family until 1963 when the family moved to 5 High Street, Newtonards.

Walter was president of Ards Rugby club between 1962-71.

Walter died at the age of 85 in March 1999 in Thanet With Dover, Kent, England.[3]
