Note by Martin C. Styan: According to thepeerage.com Mary Jones, who married Simon Thomas Scrope in 1821 was the daughter of John Jones and Harriett Plunkett. However, Harriett married John only in 1817. This John was presumably the brother, not the father of Mary.
