Mary (Polly) Joplin was born before 1780 in North Carolina, the daughter of Mark Joplin and his wife Amey (surname unknown). She is identified as as daughter Polly Davis in her father's 1814 Wake County will. [1]
She married Jonathan Davis 22 Dec 1796 in Wake, North Carolina.[2][3]
It is assumed Mary Joplin Davis died before 1816. She is not named in in the 1816 Wake, North Carolina, deed from John Williamson Cope to the heirs of Mark Joplin, deceased (Bk 1, p.74). [4]
