David W. Jordan mustered in on 24 September 1861, he served with company B, 103rd Regiment, Pennsylvania Infantry. He was captured at Plymouth, North Carolina on 20 April 1864, and imprisoned in the Andersonville Prison. He died there on 5 July 1864 of Diarrhea. He was buried in the Andersonville National Cemetery, plot #2914.[1][2]
