Mary Louise Kanka was born on December 5, 1923, in Los Angeles, California, her father, Anton, was 35, and her mother, Maye, was 18. She married Ira Junior Cooper on May 18, 1941, in Yuma, Arizona. They had five children during their marriage. She died on June 1, 1994, in South Gate, California, at the age of 70.[1]

Mary married Ira Junior Cooper 1920-1994 (until her death) on the 18th of May, 1941 in Yuma, AZ, USA. They had 5 children, Irene Janet Cooper 1942-2020, Patricia Ann Cooper 1943-2009, Stephanie Diane Cooper 1944-Living (Tx), Barbara Jean Cooper 1952-2017 & Daniel Anton Cooper 1950-Living (Ca). They have about 18-20 Grandkids. Mary was a stay-home mom. And was a member of the Rebecca's of the Odd Fellow Lodge. Mary & Ira even sometimes took part in the Community Theater Musical.
Mary lost her life to cancer that had invaded her whole body. She was Cremated and her ashes were scattered in the Pacific Ocean off Long Beach, California, USA. (Ira would later be scattered and laid to rest with Mary).
