Hattie Mae (Kavanaugh) Rice - - the Moberly Moniter-Index Tuesday, March 7, 1939 - Mrs. A. L. Rice, Darksville, Dies
Mrs. A. L. Rice, 52, died at 2:15 o'clock yesterday afternoon at her home six miles north of Huntsville, in the Darksville community. She had been ill only a short time with pneumonia.
Mrs. Rice is survived by her husband; three sons, Charles Rice of Macon and Leland and Victor Rice of the home; a daughter, Inez, of the home; two sisters, Mrs. Wallace Sears of Salisbury and Mrs. Gladys White of Jameson; and a brother, C. W. Kavanaugh of Henley, Mo.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at Trinity Church, north of Huntsville. The services will be conducted by the Rev. N. J. Hepburn of Kansas City and the Rev. S. L. Moseley of Moberly. Burial will be in the Trinity Cemetery.
Hattie was born about 1888. Buried in Trinity Cemetery (north of Huntsville, Missouri).
