Research Notes

  • Wife - Guiney, Gany, Gainey, Garney?
Married Bridget Gany (Garney, Gainey, Guiney?) in Cincinnati 27 Oct 1856. I don’t want to add her until I have more sources on the spelling of her maiden name. Her mother, also named Bridget lived next door to Michael and Bridget and ran a Boardinghouse. The husband of Bridget Garney does not appear in the records so he could have died in Ireland, Sources needed.
  • John Keane?
Why did MC move to Mitchell, IN? How is he related to John Keane, brother, cousin?
  • Origins
Also need to find M.C. Keane’s Family. Some sources lead to a Kerry, other Londonderry, but DNA indicates Munster, Ireland.
