On the 1940 census the Ivan Willis family, which included Eugene Willis, were living in Larkspur not far from Franktown, where Rose's father, Andrew and 2 brothers lived.
It was after Gene Willis joined the Army Air Corps, Aug 1942 that he married Rose C, Kelty.
Rose and Gene had at least child that I know and am acquainted with, Chief Lee Willis of the Franktown Fire Station.

"Rosie and Gene owned the Franktown Liquor store and Rosie had an office job with the Government. On December 6, 1977, there were 2 men who walked into the store and killed Gene. After that Lee sold his gas station and him and his wife are running the liquor store."
