William Reuben Kendall was born on 3 Nov 1806 in Culpeper, Virginia to Thomas Kendall and Lucy Garner. He married Eleanor (Ellen) Settle (Suttle) on 25 Feb 1833 in Virginia. He died on 10 Jan 1880 in Van Buren, Iowa.
