She married Daniel/Donald McIntosh and they moved to North Dakota, United States in 1889. By 1900, they'd been married for 11 years and had five children.[2]
Penelope died (age 61 years 8 months 11 days) on January 11, 1924 in Kinloss, Bruce, Ontario.[3] Her son James was the informant. She was buried in South Kinloss.[4]
