Biography

Mary was born 1802 in Greene, Tennessee, United States. She married Isaac McPherson on 27 December 1821 in Washington, Tennessee, United States.^[1]

In the 1850 census, Elizabeth (age 48) was in Subdivision 4, Washington, Tennessee, United States.^[2] In the 1860 census, Elizabeth (age 59) was in Sarcoxie, Jasper, Missouri.^[3]

Elizabeth died in 1864 and was buried in Jasper, Missouri, United States.^[4]

Research Notes

There is some debate as to Elizabeth's parents. I believe them to be William and Elizabeth Kennedy. On her marriage certificate it appears her name was spelled Kinnedy so people have her named as such. I believe it was a clerical error. Also, a William Kennedy was in the same area of TN at the time and signed several deeds.
