Biography
Roxie Ann Kennedy was born November 18, 1871 to Henry Kennedy and Emily Pace in Pollard, Alabama.[1]
She married David Robert Steele on June 30, 1889 in Pollard, Alabama. Their children were:
- Stella Elizabeth Steele 1898–1991
- Lillie Bell Steele 1900–1942
- Laura Elizabeth Steele 1902–1902
- Albert D Steele 1903–1904
- Cassie May Steele 1906–1906
- Bessie Steele 1912–1978
She died, at the age of 102, on April 29, 1974 in Brewton, Alabama.[1] She is buried at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Brewton, Escambia County, Alabama.[2]
