Daniel Howard Kenney was born on 22 Sep 1874 in Bristol, Rhode Island to Pardon T Kenney and Margaret (McPhee) Kenney.[1][2] By profession he was a pharmacist.[3]
In 1902 he married Elizabeth L Gray (more commonly known as Bessie), also of Bristol.[4] By 1910 they had moved to Detroit, Michigan and Daniel was working as manager of the Majestic branch of the Liggett drug company there.[5] At some point shortly after that he became a salesman for the Pittsburgh Plate Glass company and was a member of the Detroit Board of Commerce.
He died suddenly on 16 Apr 1915 of pleurisy and pneumonia.[6][7] He was 40 years old.
