Biography

Spencer Kent was born in Sussex, England.

Spencer Kent was baptised at St Clements, Hastings, Sussex on 30 October 1745. He was the son of George Kent & Ann Salmon.^[1]

Spencer Kent married Mary Nash in All Saints Hastings, Sussex on 24 August 1766.^[2][3] They had the following children:

1. Mary Kent, baptised 6 October 1766 at Hastings^[4]
2. Elizabeth Kent, baptised 14 August 1768 at Hastings^[5]
3. Ann Kent, baptised 13 May 1770 at Hastings^[6]
4. Spencer Kent, baptised 12 July 1772 at Hastings^[7]
5. Martha Kent, baptised 27 November 1775 at Hastings^[8]

His wife Mary was buried at Hastings, All Saints on 6 December 1775.^[9]
