Biography

When Mary Arlena Kerner was born on October 29, 1853, in Forsyth, North Carolina, her father, Joseph, was 30, and her mother, Melissa, was 25. She married Frederick Marion Morris on April 23, 1874, in Kernersville, North Carolina. They had 12 children in 18 years. She died on January 8, 1925, in Wichita Falls, Texas, at the age of 71, and was buried in Aubrey, Texas.
