Receive grant given to deceased husband 2 OCT 1818. Chatham County, NB, Canada.
The 12 Jun 1852 edition of the New Brunswick Courier states: "d. Cornwallis, N.S., 16th ult., age 69, Janet Beckwith widow of James Beckwith, Esq., Collector of Customs at Miramichi (North. Co.) and eldest d/o late Col. James Kerr."[1]
