Biography

Sarah was born in 1810 in Augusta County, VA. She was the daughter of William Kerr and Mary Grove.

On 2 Mar 1829, in Augusta, she married Peter Charles Hoge. They had 11 known children. Eventually settling in Albemarle County, VA, it is here she passed away in 1872. She is buried at the Scottsville Baptist Church Cemetery.
