Research Note

Narcissa, daughter of Solomon and Polly Casinger, is not the same person who married John Clark in 1849. John Clark's wife was a member of the Solomon and Frances Caysinger family, residing in nearby Ripley County, Missouri. Solomon and Frances's family is often confused with the family of Solomon and Polly Caysinger in Butler County, Missouri.
