Freddy "Fred" Duane Kester was born 29 Sep 1948, in Oklahma City, Oklahoma County, Oklahoma. He was a son of Fred Kester and Alice Ohls.

He went into the United States Marine Corps, and went to Vietnam.

Fred was killed in action, in Quang Nam, Vietnam (South Vietnam), on 20 Jan 1969. His was buried in the Rose Hill Burial Park, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma County, Oklahoma. [1]
