Marcus Kester was born 15 Jan 1853. He is a son of William Kester and Martha McCrary. [1]
He married Rebecca Orcutt, 19 Oct 1871 in Clark County, Illinois. [1] [2] They are known to have had at least six children.
In 1880, they resided in York, Clark County, Illinois. Parents Marcus and Rebecca, with Daughter Alice and Son Benjamin. [3]
In 1900, they resided in Bond Township, Lawrence County, Illinois. Living in the home was Marcus, Rebecca and their son William. [4]
In 1904 they were residing in Pinkstaff, Lawrence County, Illinois. [1] [5]
Marcus passed away 23 Apr 1929, in Olney, Richland County, Illinois. He was buried on 25 Apr 1929 in the Haven Hill Cemetery, Olney, Richland County, Illinois. [6]
