Biography

Susan Chorine Key was born 29 April 1897 in Abaco, Bahamas to William Key and Mary Elizabeth Curry Key.

She married Rogers Benson Weatherford, son of Willis Weatherford and Mary Ellen Sands Weatherford, at Hope Town, Abaco 2 September 1914. The couple had three children - Charles Berlin, English Oswald, and Una Louise Weatherford. . The Weatherfords emigrated to Florida about 1916 and lived for decades in Riviera Beach. Sometime after her husband's death, Susan moved to Georgia and lived with her son Berlin.

Susan Chorine Key Weatherford passed away 6 May 1982 in Vidalia, Toombs County, Georgia at 85 years of age. She was buried there in Pinecrest Cemetery.
