Amey and Isaac Hoxie's first three of six children were born in Sandwich Massachusetts. They moved to Sidney Maine in 1800 where the remaining three were born.

Although it states that Amey is buried in the Orneville Cemetery I could not find her headstone. There are several stones that are badly damaged, some that are face down separated from their base.
