Allegedly, she married William Reeve Hamilton before 1882 and had three children. She divorced him, then married Charles Norris Williamson in England in 1890.
An Alice M. King did marry William R. Hamilton on Jan. 24, 1878 in Cuyahoga, OH.
And an Alice Merril King, married to Wm. Reeny Hamilton, later lived in Wisconsin.
A genealogy web site (http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~cbjbar/descendancy.html) states that Alice Murial [sic] King, daughter of Jeannie Livingston Thomas (King) married the author, Charles Norris Williamson and was herself a well-known author, Alice Muriel Williamson. However, all accounts report that the wife of Charles Norris Williamson was Alice Muriel Livingston before her marriage. So Alice Muriel King is not be the wife of Charles Norris Williamson. (It is interesting that her grandmother was Jane Paterson Livingston.) (Also interesting that wikipedia gives Alice Muriel Livingston's death as Sept. 24, 1933, the same date listed in a familysearch.org record for Alice Muriel King.)
The "Berkeley Daily Gazette," Berkeley, California, Sept. 25, 1933, while reporting the death of Alice Muriel Williamson, states that she was a native of Virginia. Alice Muriel King was born in Ohio.
I could not find a U. S. passport application for Alice King, Alice Livingston, or Alice Williamson.
