Birth and Baptism
Ann, the daughter of John Kinghorn and his wife Mary, née Coton, who had been married at York on 11 June 1787,[1][2] was born at York, Yorkshire, on 21 April 1795 and baptized at the church of St Mary, in Castlegate, York, on 22 April 1795.[3][4]
1841 Census
The 6 June 1841 census records Ann, a Dress Maker, living at Well Lane, Beverley, Yorkshire, with Harriet Julian.[5]

Ann married widower Thomas Gardener by banns at St John's church, Beverley, Yorkshire on 9 April 1848. Ann was described as a Spinster, aged 59, occupation Dress Maker, resident at Well Lane, daughter of John Kinghorn, a Bookkeeper. Witnesses were Henry Julian and Sabian Julian.[6][7]

The 30 March 1851 census records Ann living with her husband Thomas, and nieces Harriet Julian and Charlotte Kinghorn, at 5 Sea View, Moor Lane, Bridlington.[8]

Ann died at Bridlington Quay on 22 October 1858[9][10] and buried at Bridlington on 25 October 1858.[11][12]
