Zipha Kinney was born June 24, 1803, the daughter of John Kinney and Hannah Weston^{[1] [2]}

She married Ezekiel Ellis, son of Ezekiel Ellis and Hannah Crocker of Yarmouth^{[1] [3] [4]}, and their children included:

1. Rebecca Ann, who married Joseph Ellenwood, son of [[Ellenwood-97|Giles Ellenwood] and Jemima Sullivan; and then married William Hughes^[2]
