Biography

Elizabeth was born in about 1893. She was the daughter of George Kinsman and Mary Elizabeth Sherrin.

Her father George died on 29 September 1914.

Elizabeth Fay Kinsman (aged 23) and Lancelot Peachey Hindson (aged 24) were married on 2 September 1915 at St. Peter's Church, Vryheid, Natal, South Africa, by Special Licence[1]. Lancelot was a Clerk of Durban; Elizabeth a spinster of Dundee.

They had at least two children:

  1. Denis George Hindson (b. circa 1921)
  2. Leslie Lancelot Hindson

Her husband died on 2 May 1930 at the age of 39. Her mother Mary died on 23 June 1939.

Elizabeth passed away on 14 July 1957 at the age of 64[2]. Causes of death were recorded as Cerebral Hemorrhage and Ocular Hemorrhage.
