Biography

James Kirk is an Anzac who served in World War One.

James was born in Mosgiel on the 1st July 1896.[1] He was the son of William Kirk and Georgina Twelftree.

L/Cpl 2Bn Otago Regt, NZEF. Service No: 24374 [2][3]

He passed away in La Plus Douvre on the 14th April 1917.[4] There is a Memorial for him in East Taieri Cemetery.[5] He is buried in La Plus Douve Farm Military Cemetery.[6]
