Upon their divorce, William McElroy Rutherford took three children with him: Nola, Fred, and Dott; however, Dott was returned to Mary Elizabeth Kirkland Rutherford Hull.
Elizabeth remarried a Captain John Hull (1-30-1844 to 11-23-1904), sometime in 1900. He lived three years after this marriage and is buried in Bethlehem Cemetery in Washington County, near Morrow, Arkansas.
Elizabeth ("Lizzie" and "Grandma Hull"), along with Dott, Clyde, & Edith are buried in Bethesda Cemetery, Washington CO, Arkansas.
Gertie died of Typhoid Fever at 1:30 pm, just three weeks after becoming sick and weeks before her marriage. She is buried in Dutch Mills Cemetery, Wash. Co, Arkansas
